Warehouse cleaning across Coventry and Warwickshire

Coventry sits where the M6, the M69, the A45 and the A46 meet, close to the middle of England’s motorway network. That has brought large distribution and logistics sites to the edge of the city and along those roads, alongside the region’s long-established factories and engineering firms.

Locus Services cleans these buildings, from big-box distribution centres to factory units and the warehouses that serve them. Most are tall, busy buildings where dust and debris build up on racking, steelwork, ducting and roof lights, out of reach of everyday cleaning.

Buildings we clean in Coventry

Warehouses

High-bay storage with tall racking, where dust settles on beams, roof steelwork and the top levels of stock. We clean from MEWPs, working through one aisle or zone at a time.

Distribution centres

Large sites that run long shifts and move goods in and out all day. We plan around delivery slots, picking and dock activity, and can work at night or at weekends.

Factories

Production halls, plant and the steelwork overhead, common across Coventry’s manufacturing and engineering sites. We plan access around production runs and shutdowns, and follow your site’s hygiene and safety rules. See industrial cleaning.

Commercial buildings

Trade counters, business units and offices on industrial estates and business parks: high-level internal cleans, plus cladding, gutters and skylights.

Cold stores

Chilled and frozen storage, cleaned to a plan agreed around stock and temperature. See cold store cleaning.

Large sites, cleaned in phases

On a big distribution centre, a full clean can’t happen all at once. We split the building into zones and agree an order with you, so each area is cleaned while the rest keeps working. You get a written schedule before we start, so your team knows which aisles, docks or bays are affected and when.

What a warehouse clean includes

Every job starts with a free site survey. Depending on the building, the work covers:

  • High-level cleaning: roof steelwork, beams, lighting, ducting and the tops of racking, by IPAF-trained operatives. See high level cleaning.
  • Loading docks and yards: dock levellers, door surrounds, yards and service roads.
  • Floors: deep cleaning, and factory floor painting where a floor needs resurfacing or new line marking.
  • Roofline: gutter cleaning to stop leaks onto stock, and skylight cleaning to bring back natural light.
  • Bird fouling: safe clearance of pigeon guano, with proofing to keep birds out. See pigeon guano removal.

Safe, planned and properly documented

You get risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) before work starts, and our crews follow your site rules and inductions. Locus is SafeContractor-accredited, Constructionline Silver and a BICSc member, and our operatives hold IPAF and CSCS cards. We’re a registered upper-tier waste carrier, so any waste we remove is carried and recorded properly.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover warehouses outside Coventry?

Yes. We work across Warwickshire and the surrounding area, including Nuneaton, Rugby, Hinckley and Magna Park near Lutterworth, and the rest of England.

Can you clean a large distribution centre without shutting it down?

Yes. We split the site into zones and clean them in an agreed order, working around shifts, deliveries and picking, and at night or at weekends if needed.

Do you clean factories as well as warehouses?

Yes. We clean production areas, plant and overhead steelwork, planned around production runs and shutdowns, and following your site’s hygiene and safety rules.

What paperwork do we get?

You get risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) before the job, a written schedule of works, and waste transfer notes for anything we take away.

How much does warehouse cleaning cost?

It depends on the size and height of the building, the access equipment needed and when the work can be done. We give a fixed written quote after a free site survey.
